Lichtenberg Castle Youth Hostel
Breathtaking - the modern youth hostel Burg Lichtenberg is located in one of the largest castle complexes in Germany. It offers a wide view over the green Kuseler Bergland. In recent years, many parts of the castle have been rebuilt. In addition to the Musikantenland Museum in the tithe barn, the castle grounds also house the Palatinate Museum of Natural History and the GEOSKOP Prehistoric World Museum.

- There are three parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
- The reception counter is a maximum of 80 cm high.
- At least one double or multi-bed room is available.
- The WC in the room can be partially accessed from one side (59 cm). There is a folding grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
- Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
- There are tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There is a public toilet, but none for people with disabilities.
