The train station in Lauterecken is an important hub of the district's tourism infrastructure. In addition to the stop for travelers by bus and train, the Glan-Blies bike path and the trolley route, which also include barrier-free tourism offerings, also run along the station facility.

  • An information screen is installed in the outside area of the "Stellwerk". The screen can be lowered with a "wheelchair button" for optimal operation from a wheelchair.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 85 cm wide.
  • The WC door can be opened with a Euro key.
  • The manoeuvering spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin and the WC 170 cm x 132 cm;
    to the left and right of the WC at least 90 cm x 70 cm.
