Two Lakes Hike

Uta Steffen (Uta Steffen)

Salem Lake and Piper Lake are accessible

The barrier-free hiking trail begins at the car park in Salem. There, Salem Lake welcomes arriving guests. The sweeping view across the lake delights every nature lover. The hiking trail now leads along the shore and offers many wonderful views. Seating areas and information boards give hikers an insight into the local nature.

After about 2 km, Pipersee lake comes into view. Its shore path is lined with large trees. Small niches offer romantic views of the lake. At the end of Pipersee lake, the hiking trail ends at a car park. The Schaalseecamp is located in the immediate vicinity.
