  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
  • The nearest bus stop is “Havenwelten”.
  • All outside paths are easy to walk and drive on.
  • Access to the Bordinghouse (reception, elevator and apartment 1) is step-free.
  • All rooms that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible at ground level or via an elevator. 
  • All raised passages/doors are at least 90 cm wide (exception: apartment 108, which is not barrier-free).
  • The reception counter is 110 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
  • One barrier-free apartment (no. 1 on the ground floor) is available.
  • The WC can be accessed from one side (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.  
  • The washbasin can be driven under and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • The Übersee bistro (approx. 20 m from the Boardinghouse entrance) has tables that are max. 80 cm high and can be driven under at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public WC for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from at least one side (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.

  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • In the event of an audible alarm, no visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal appears.
  • An emergency call is confirmed acoustically in the elevator. Alternatively, stairs are available.
  • In the bedrooms of the apartments there is at least one freely available outlet near the bed. Knocking at room doors is not indicated by a flashing signal.
  • Free WiFi access is available.
  • In the Bistro "Übersee" there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps that restrict the field of vision.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The entrances are not visually high in contrast and cannot be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • There is a rotation door at the entrance between reception and car park, alternatively there is a hinged door.
  • The evaluated areas usable for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The paths in corridors are visually contrasted to the surroundings throughout the entire building. The walls or other structural elements can partly be used for orientation.
  • Steps have no contrasting edges.
  • An emergency call is confirmed acoustically in the elevator. 
  • There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • The menu font in the Bistro "Übersee" is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.

  • There is no uninterrupted colored or pictorial guidance system.
  • Business cards with address and telephone number of the hotel are visibly displayed at the reception.
  • There is no information in easy language.
