  • There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities in the underground garage and near the entrance.
  • The building is accessible without steps.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via elevators. The elevator cabins are 107 cm x 180 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide (or alternatives are available).
  • The reception desk is 115-120 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
  • Wheelchair compatible tables are available in the breakfast area and on the terrace (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the washbasin and WC 140 cm x 140 cm;
    to the left of the WC 15 cm x 60 cm; to the right of the WC 100 cm x 60 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. The grab rails can be folded up.
  • The washbasin has limited access and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • The threshold-free shower measures 120 cm x 120 cm. Grab rails and a shower seat are provided.
  • There is an alarm trigger.

Room 104 (double room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. wardrobes) 120 cm x 100 cm;

  • There is an audio induction loop system at the reception.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed visually.
  • Deafgards (mobile devices) are available: the alarm signal of a smoke detector activates a vibration alarm and a stroboscopic light. The devices also function as vibration alarm clocks.
  • There is a wireless doorbell with flashing light that can be used in any room.
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • In some rooms there is an emergency bell directly at the bedside, which triggers an alarm signal at the reception.
  • In the breakfast room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position is not announced by spoken commands. The operating controls are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
  • On the stairs, the first and last steps are visually rich in contrast. Stairs have handrails on both sides.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.
