The Heidehotel Bad Bevensen is a barrier-free hotel in the Lüneburg Heath and belongs to the FDS Hotel gGmbH. Here you will find the best conditions for a relaxing, but also varied holiday. In the pretty spa town of Bad Bevensen a comfortable domicile awaits you - be it for a holiday, a seminar or a conference. Of course, the hotel is completely barrier-free for wheelchair users. 

Start the day with a delicious breakfast from our rich buffet and enjoy just having time. In the evening, a varied buffet with regional dishes awaits you in our restaurant, which is bathed in warm light. In the fireplace bar you can end the day with a glass of wine or an ice cream sundae. 

For recreation, the barrier-free Vital Centre with bio-sauna, sauna, steam bath, relaxation rooms and gymnastics room is at your disposal.

The barrier-free Heidehotel is located in Bad Bevensen in the Lüneburg Heath. Generously designed guest rooms, a sunny roof terrace and a beautiful forest garden allow a relaxing time in a well-kept atmosphere. Music and lecture evenings are organised for your entertainment

  • There are ten parking spaces available for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator.
  • There are no slopes with a gradient of more than 7%.
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 75 cm high.
  • Accessible rooms are available. A height-adjustable nursing bed and a mobile hoist are available on request.
  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is also visible while seated.
  • The shower is accessible without a threshold. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • The restaurant has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm. The buffet is lowered for use by wheelchair users. 
  • A wellness area is available. This was noted but not included in the rating.
  • There are two public toilets for people with disabilities, which are accessible from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
