All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - partially barrier-free for people with walking disabilities".
Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end.
- There are non-signposted parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size 350 cm x 500 cm, distance to the reception building 30 m).
- The path from the car park to the reception building is easy to walk and drive on and there are 5 steps. A bell is present.
- If required, groups can register in the dining room (separate building, step-free access).
- In public areas doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide.
- The ward, bowling alley and dining room are step-free accessible.
- All raised doors/passages that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- There are wheelchair accessible tables in the dining room.
Rooms 17 and 20 (shared rooms, identical size and equipment)
- The rooms are located in a separate, steplessly accessible building.
- The movement areas in the sleeping area are:
in front of essential immovable furnishings at least 200 cm x 150 cm;
to the right of the bed 109 cm x 220 cm, to the left the bed is against the wall.
- The bed is 45 cm high.
- The narrowest passage width in the room is 109 cm.
Bathroom for rooms 17 and 20
- Shower and toilet can be reached via the corridor.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the sanitary room are:
in front of the toilet and the washbasin 109 cm x 124 cm;
to the right of the toilet 33 cm x 55 cm and to the left 81 cm x 55 cm.
- On the left there is a handle which can be folded up.
- The shower area at ground level is 170 cm x 145 cm. There is a shower chair and horizontal grab handles.
- The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
- The mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.
