Vital Hotel an der Therme
The Vital Hotel an der Therme is located right next to the Franken-Therme Bad Windsheim. Here you will find a place to relax and enjoy Central Franconia's largest spa.
The hotel is also comfortably connected to the thermal baths by a "bathrobe corridor", through which you can comfortably enter the Franken-Therme directly.
The hotel, which only opened in 2016, has 87 modern and high-quality rooms, which create a feel-good atmosphere for guests, especially through harmonious furnishings with warm natural tones and light wood.

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

- There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 88 cm wide.
- The reception counter is 117 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
- There are four barrier-free rooms.
- The WC in the room can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
- Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
- There are tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.

- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.
- In the breakfast area, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There are no tables with low ambient noise.
