Arobella

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are six parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size 400 cm x 500 cm; distance to the entrance approx. 30 m).
• The Arobella bus stop is 150 m from the entrance.
• The building is accessible without steps.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible without steps. Exceptions are the slide tower, the Maa sauna, the fireplace sauna and part of the sauna bistro.
• The elevator cabin is 100 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 85 cm wide.
• Ramps have a maximum longitudinal gradient of 4%.
• The cash desk is 114 cm high.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 85 cm wide. There are numerous exceptions in the sauna area (see inspection report).
• Wheelchair compatible tables are available in the Arobella Beach Bar.
• There are flat steps with handrails and a passenger lift to access the (swimming) pool(s). 
• Aids: wheelchair, wet wheelchair, passenger lift

Changing room and WC for people with disabilities 

• There is a WC and a shower in the changing room.
• The manoeuvring spaces in front of the toilet or washbasin are 120 cm x 120 cm, to the left of the toilet 100 cm x 54 cm and to the right of the toilet 150 cm x 54 cm.
• There are fold-up grab rails on both sides.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The level-access shower has a surface area of 140 cm x 110 cm. There are grab rails, but no shower seat.
• An alarm cord is available.

Sauna area

• There is another WC for people with disabilities in the panorama sauna area. The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the WC 250 cm x 160 cm, in front of the washbasin 240 cm x 240 cm,
  to the right of the WC 250 cm x 56 cm, there is no manoeuvring space on the left.
  There are grab rails on both sides. The grab rail on the right is foldable.
• The level-access shower in the sauna area has an area of 340 cm x 170 cm. There are no grab rails or shower seat.
• The clear passage width of the doors to the steam bath, the meditation sauna, the birch sauna, the fireplace sauna, the panorama sauna, the infrared brine cabin and the relaxation rooms is at least 80 cm.
