The youth hostel Speyer has 176 beds in rooms for 1, 2 and 4 people. All rooms are equipped with shower/toilet.

The youth hostel belongs to the category IV+ superlatives pure. The very modern Electoral Palatinate Youth Hostel Speyer is centrally located on the banks of the Rhine in the immediate vicinity of the leisure pool, cathedral, technical museum with IMAX cinema, Historical Museum of the Palatinate and Sea Life. Two thousand years of Speyer - the cathedral and imperial city on the Rhine is closely linked to German and European history.

The youth hostel has 5 lounges and event rooms of various sizes for 8 to 50 people and a large congress hall for up to 140 people.

  • All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp.

  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 71 cm high.

  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a foldable grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.
  • The sink is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is via a 2-3 cm high threshold. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • The dining room has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
