Whether you are looking for ideas for your own garden, simply want to spend a relaxing day with family and friends, or want to experience varied garden culture: you will find all this and much more in the Park der Gärten.  

In addition to the more than 90 model gardens, plant collections and cultural offerings, specially designed play areas, such as the water playground and the climbing playground or an observation tower delight visitors.

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
  • The bus platform - C - Park der Gärten is 20 m away. 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp. The tower is an exception. This is only accessible via a staircase.
  • They have a maximum longitudinal gradient of up to 6%. 
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
  • Exhibits and information are mainly visible from a seated position.
  • Seating is available.
  • There are wheelchair-compatible tables in the restaurant in the Glass House (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • There are public WCs for people with disabilities that can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). Folding grab rails are provided to the left and right of the toilet.   
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is necessary. 
  • The entire route of the tour is steplessly accessible for wheelchair users. Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

  • Guided tours for people with hearing impairment and deaf people (in German sign language) are offered. A reservation in advance is necessary. 
  • Special trained guides make sure that people with hearing impairment and deaf people can take part in any guided tour (guided tour in sign language).
