The Tourist Information Wismar is open all year round for visitors of the city. Information, city tours, souvenirs, advice on accommodation and much more can be offered to the guest.
Barrier-free information
All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

- There is no parking space available for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps or via a ramp (stepless access via the Welt-Erbe-Haus).
- All passages/doors are at least 80 cm wide.
- The counter in the customer room is 110 cm high. There is an alternative means of communication while seated.
- There is a public toilet for people with disabilities in the Welt-Erbe-Haus, which can be accessed from both sides (at least 90 cm). Flip-up grab rails are available at the WC.
- Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Please book in advance.
- Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

- In the event of an audible alarm, there is no visually perceptible flashing or strobe signal.
- There is no audio induction loop system.
- Guided tours are offered for people with hearing impairments and deaf people. Please book in advance.
- Guided tours with FM equipment are available for people with hearing impairments (e.g. headphones, neckloops).
- Sign language interpreters can be organized.
