The Vulkanhof goat cheese dairy is located in Gillenfeld, on the beautiful Pulvermaar and in the heart of the unspoiled landscape of the Vulkaneifel. Our family business has been recognized as one of the best cheese dairies in Germany (‘Der Feinschmecker’) and is valued for its high-quality, fine, regional goat's cheese products.

  • There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities.
  • Almost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible without steps. Exception: The tasting room is only accessible via a threshold of 4 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 70 cm wide.
  • The counter in the farm shop is at its lowest point 65 cm high.
  • Wheelchair compatible tables are available in the tasting room, but not in the outdoor dining area. 
  • Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered. A reservation in advance is necessary. Mobile or fixed seats are available, which may be used during the guided tour.
  • There is no public toilet designed for people with disabilities.
