Emden Art Gallery

Emden Art Gallery (Joke Pouliart)

Henri Nannen built a house for his pictures together with his future wife Eske in their hometown of Emden. The founder and long-time editor-in-chief of “Stern” was passionate about collecting the expressive art of German Expressionism and New Objectivity, which forms the core of the collection. The architecture of the newly modernized Kunsthalle, which opened in 2007, provides the perfect setting for the international, high-quality and innovative exhibitions of 20th century art.
