Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end of the text.

  • There are three marked parking spaces for people with disabilities on the hotel parking lot (parking space size: 300 cm x 500 cm, distance to entrance: 20 m).
  • The path between the parking lot and the entrance is easy to walk and drive on due to its surface quality.
  • Access to the building is possible without steps or thresholds.
  • The reception counter is 109 cm high. There is no equivalent communication possibility while sitting.
  • Doors are at least 80 cm wide. There are no rotating or revolving doors.
  • Access from the lobby to the restaurant is possible via a 110 cm long landing ramp with 36 % gradient.
  • The breakfast room is accessible via the restaurant, alternatively via three steps with handrail.
  • All evaluated rooms usable by the guest are at ground level, accessible by elevator or ramp.
  • In the restaurant and breakfast room there are wheelchair accessible tables.
  • The elevator door is 90 cm wide, the cab size is 112 cm x 139 cm.

Room 117 (double bedroom)

  • The maneuvering space in the bedroom is 460 cm x 270 cm in front of the main immobile furnishings, 65 cm x 270 cm to the left of the bed and 160 cm x 370 cm to the right.
  • The bed is not wheelchair accessible.
  • The door to the sanitary room is 82 cm wide.
  • The maneuvering space in the sanitary room is 70 cm x 54 cm to the left of the toilet , 41 cm x 54 cm to the right, 224 cm x 90 cm in front of the toilet and 214 cm x 120 cm in front of the washbasin.
  • There is a handle on the right side of the toilet which cannot be folded up, there is no handle on the left side.
  • The shower area at ground level is 137 cm x 88 cm.
  • There is a shower chair and grab handles.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

Room 216 (double bedroom)

  • The maneuvering space in the bedroom is 480 cm x 151 cm in front of the main immobile furnishings, 132 cm x 298 cm to the left of the bed and 170 cm x 295 cm to the right.
  • The bed is not wheelchair accessible.
  • The door to the sanitary room is 82 cm wide.
  • The maneuvering space in the sanitary room is 18 cm x 53 cm on the left of the toilet , 105 cm x 53 cm on the right and 161 cm x 98 cm in front of the toilet and washbasin.
  • There is a handle on the left of the toilet which cannot be folded up, there is no handle on the right side.
  • The shower area at ground level is 98 cm x 93 cm.
  • There is a shower chair and grab handles.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

Public toilet for people with disabilities in the lobby

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • left of toilet 52 cm x 69 cm, from the right the toilet is not accessible,
    • in front of toilet and washbasin 126 cm x 179 cm.
  • There is a handle on the right side of the toilet which cannot be folded up, there is no handle on the left side.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible. The mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.

  • There is no clearly visually perceptible alarm (e.g. fire alarm).
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • In the elevator an outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly, but not optically. Alternatively there are stairs available.
  • In room 117 there is at least one freely available electrical outlet near the bed, but not in room 216.
  • Knocking at the room door is not indicated by an optical signal.
  • WIFI and fax are available for communication.
  • In the breakfast room and in the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the visual field or eye contact. There are seating areas with low background noises.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The main entrance is visually contrasted to the surrounding area, but cannot be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • Rooms and corridors are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • Glass doors are marked with safety markings.
  • There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path / room.
  • The breakfast room is accessible via three steps with handrails. The step surfaces are not visually or tactilely rich in contrast.
  • In the elevator, the stopping position is not announced by spoken commands. An emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively stairs are available. The steps are not designed visually rich in contrast or are tactilely detectable.
  • Operating elements are tactilely detectable in the entire building and designed visually rich in contrast almost everywhere.
  • The fonts of the signs are not easy to read. There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • There is no uninterrupted guidance system (e.g. floor indicators). Indoors, the paths are predominantly marked with tactile markings or the walls can be used as orientation guidelines.
  • Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glass, etc.)

  • Name and logo of the company are clearly visible from the outside at the entrance.
  • The reception is directly visible from the entrance.
  • Business cards / brochures with address and telephone number of the host are visibly displayed in the room.
  • There is no menu with pictures. In the breakfast room the dishes are presented visibly, but not in the restaurant.
  • There is no colored or pictorial guidance system.
  • There is no information in easy language. Information is not displayed with pictograms or pictures.
  • The destinations of the routes are usually within sight.
