 The Anschutz Entertainment Group has expanded its portfolio in Berlin with the recent  completion of the Uber Eats Music Hall - a 4.200  capacity venue designed to deliver the ultimate live music experience. An intimate space with outstanding acoustics,  a state-of-the-art sound system, scalable capacity, and exceptional levels of service – the  Uber Eats Music Hall is Berlin’s new home of live  entertainment.

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label “Accessibility certified – accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users.”

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

  • There are many parking spaces for people with disabilities in the Arena and Plaza parking garages.
  • The Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations are within walking distance, as are many bus lines.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via elevators.
  • All doors/passages accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • There are separate parking spaces for wheelchair users in blocks 201, 203, and 205.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities on each floor, which is accessible from both sides (at least 90 cm). The grab bars in the restroom can be flipped-up.

  • In the event of an acoustic alarm, there is no additional clear visual flashing signal.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.

  • Assistance dogs are not welcome.
  • The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast font.
  • All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
  • Stairs have visually contrasting edges on at least the first and last steps. Stairs have handrails on both sides.
  • Information is not available in relief or Braille.
