Treetop-Walk Saarloop

A standing person and a person in a wheelchair on the treetop walkway (Lukas Huneke)

High above the forest floor and right in the heart of nature:

the barrier-free Saarschleife treetop walk offers a fascinating journey through the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park over a distance of 1,250 metres.

Amongst the treetops, you will discover exciting facts about the forest and wildlife at lovingly designed learning stations. Quiet retreats invite you to take a deep breath – perfect for families, groups and anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. Thanks to gentle gradients of no more than 6 per cent, the Saarschleife treetop walk is accessible to everyone.

A real highlight awaits you at the observation tower: from a height of 42 metres, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Saarschleife – impressive, expansive and simply unforgettable.
