Dortmund Airport is located on the eastern edge of the Ruhr region and can be reached quickly and easily from all directions via the federal highways. It is conveniently located on the A 40 (B1) and A 44 motorways, and all areas of the terminal are easily accessible. Stores and restaurants are located at ground level. Elevators take you to all levels. You will find disabled-accessible restrooms in both the public and security areas.

At Dortmund Airport, there is an escort service (PRM service) that looks after air travelers with disabilities or limited mobility on behalf of the airlines. The employees are appropriately trained so that they can respond fully to individual needs.
