Youth Hostel at the Saar Loop (Die Jugendherbergen in Rheinland-Pfalz und im Saarland)

The youth hostel is located in Dreisbach in a district of Mettlach on the Saar, not far from the famous Saar Loop. Here you will stay very comfortably in the modern and hospitable youth hostel. One of the most beautiful points on the Saar is the Saarschleife. From the lookout point Cloef, not far from the youth hostel, you have a magnificent view of the river bend.

  • Almost all rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level. Exception: The upper floors in the main building are only accessible via stairs.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide, with the exception of the public WCs.
  • At least one barrier-free double or multi-bed room is available.
  • The WC in these rooms can be accessed from one side (at least 70 cm). There is a folding grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds. There are grab rails and a shower seat.
  • There are tables in the dining room and bistro that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is no public WC, which is accessible via a maximum of one step and has a door width of at least 70 cm.
