The central visitor information center in north-east Berlin provides information about sights and experiences in the districts of Prenzlauer Berg, Pankow and Weißensee. In the Information Center, which is open 6 days per week, visitors will find an extensive information display on offers in the region and an information-friendly team that looks after guests in several languages. The Berlin WelcomeCard, the museum pass, special postcards, interesting Berlin literature, souvenirs and city maps are also available here.

  • There are three designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • There are no slopes greater than 7%.
  • All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp.
  • All doors/passageways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • Most exhibits and information can be viewed while seated.
  • The lowest point of the counter is 73 cm high.
  • There is no public restroom for people with disabilities. There are restrooms for people with disabilities in the museum and in the Cinestar cinema on the Kulturbrauerei grounds.
  • There are no guided tours for people with walking disabilities or wheelchair users.
