The Wiedtal - Come on down!

The Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land are located in the middle of the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park. The romantic Wied with its narrow river valley and mountain ranges is the ideal backdrop for a short break for hiking, cycling, camping or a motorcycle tour.

The Klosterweg connects the RheinSteig with the WesterwaldSteig, forming an excellent hiking triangle between the Westerwald and the Rhine Valley. The three state-recognized

recognized climatic health resorts in the valley and the climatic health resort of Rengsdorf on the heights offer individual hiking opportunities with the best air quality.

The Wiedtal also has a great cycle path, the "Wied-Radweg". It runs through the beautiful river valley from east to west right across the Westerwald, connecting almost 100 km of varied landscapes. Round trips can be planned individually via the side valleys or the Rhine cycle path.

Wiedtal Vital - here you will find peace, security and relaxation. Let yourself be pampered and put your feet up. Relax in the Wiedtalbad, the Rengsdorf outdoor pool with spring water and the Niederhonnefeld natural swimming pool.

The restaurants offer regional dishes from the Westerwald and the Rhine Valley. A large selection of hotels, vacation apartments, inns, campsites and caravan sites round off the offer - come on down!

Free brochures are available from the Touristik-Verband Wiedtal e.V. in Waldbreitbach at info@wiedtal.de or www.wiedtal.de or phone 02638 - 4017.
