  • There are four marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in the underground parking garage.
  • The building is accessible without steps.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via elevators. The elevator cabins are 106 cm x 210 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 115-120 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
  • Wheelchair compatible tables are available in the breakfast area (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • Beds that can be driven under can be provided on request.

Rooms 124 and 224 (double room)

  • The rooms are identical in design.
  • The manoeuvring space in front of essential furnishings (e.g. wardrobes) and to the left and right of the bed is at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • The beds are 50 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    at least 160 cm x 149 cm in front of the washbasin and WC;
    to the left of the WC 90 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 132 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet. The grab rails can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • The shower has no threshold and measures 160 cm x 160 cm. Grab rails and a shower seat are provided.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public WC for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin and WC 180 cm x 190 cm;
    to the left of the WC 88 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 142 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. The grab rails can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • There is an audio induction loop system at the reception.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed visually.
  • Deafgards (mobile devices) are available: the alarm signal of a smoke detector activates a vibration cushion and a stroboscopic light. The devices also function as vibration alarm clocks.
  • There is a radio bell with flashing light in room 124.
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • In some rooms there is an emergency bell directly at the bedside, which triggers an alarm signal at the reception.
  • In the breakfast room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
  • WiFi is offered.

  • On the stairs, the first and last steps are visually rich in contrast.
