Welcome to your Baltic Sea holiday in a spacious, barrier-free holiday apartment - your cosy "4-star temporary home". Your vacation is right in the center of Heringsdorf directly at the promenade. The pier, beach, spa gardens, public transport as well as shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. In the hotel you can use the swimming pool, sauna or physiotherapy. Your apartment is sunny, approx. 70 m² and offers sufficient space for movement. The sleeping and living areas can be varied open or closed. Small luxury is the very large, partly covered terrace and an additional exit directly to your reserved parking space. Small and big wishes (nursing bed or similar) are welcome.

- Parking spaces are available for people with disabilities (parking space size: 500 cm x 500 cm; distance to entrance 33 m). The parking areas are not marked.
- The path to the entrance is of low vibration due to its surface quality and easy to walk and drive on.
- The entrance is accessible without thresholds and steps.
- The reception counter is 98 cm to 116 cm high.
- The doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide (except sauna door with 84 cm).
- All evaluated rooms available to the guest are accessible at ground level, by elevator or via ramp.
- The elevator cab is 140 cm x 160 cm in size (width x depth). The operating elements are arranged on a horizontal control panel.
- The dining area can be reached via a 5 m long ramp with 18 % gradient. There is no handrail. There are wheelchair accessible tables.
- Aids offered: wheelchair, walker, scooter, nursing bed, toilet attachment (via medical supply store)
Apartment 020 (ground floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces in the sleeping area are at least 150 cm x 150 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 150 cm x 220 cm to the left of the bed and 40 cm x 220 cm to the right.
- The bed is not wheelchair accessible.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the sanitary room are at least 150 cm x 150 cm in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin.
- The toilet can be accessed from the left (at least 90 cm x 70 cm), but not from the right (30 cm x 73 cm).
- Handles which can be folded up are provided on both sides.
- The shower area at ground level is 160 cm x 160 cm. A shower chair and horizontal handles are available.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
Wellness area (in the hotel)
- In the swimming pool there are aids for getting into the pool:
Person lift; flat steps with handrails on both sides, high pool edge at seat height above the pool area - In the sauna the manoeuvring space in front of the benches is 65 cm x 95 cm. The door is 84 cm wide.
- The changing room is 180 cm x 320 cm. Seating accommodations are available.
Wellness area (in the rehabilitation clinic)
- In the swimming pool there are aids for getting into the pool:

- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of the washbasin 132 cm x 98 cm; in front of the WC 80 cm x 62 cm;
to the left of the WC 53 cm x 69 cm; to the right of the WC 132 cm x 69 cm. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
- The left grab rails can be flipped-up
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible.
- The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
- There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

- There is no audio induction loop.
- There is a visibly perceptible alarm.
- In the elevator the outgoing emergency call is not confirmed visibly. Alternatively there are stairs available.
- In the evaluated room 020 there is free WIFI access and a television with teletext available.
- There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
- Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.
- At the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free surroundings, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict eye contact, and areas with low background noises.

- The entrance area is visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change of the floor covering.
- Glass doors are only partially marked with safety markings.
- There are no carousel or rotary doors.
- Rooms and corridors are brightly illuminated.
- There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room.
- There is no uninterrupted guidance system with floor indicators.
- The dining area is accessible via a staircase with 5 steps. At least the first and last steps have visually rich contrasting edges. A handrail is not available. Alternatively, there is a ramp with 18 % gradient.
- The swimming pool in the wellness area can be reached via 4 steps with handrails on both sides. The first and last steps have a visually contrasting edge.
- General signage cannot be tactilely detected (relief or prismatic writing).
- Room 020 can be reached via elevator or stairs. The staircase is not designed with visual or tactile high-contrast edges. A one-sided handrail is available.
- In the elevator, an emergency call is confirmed audibly. The stopping position is not announced by speech. The signage is not available in Braille. The operating elements are tactilely detectable.
