The peaceful atmosphere of our hotel in the Baltic resort of Karlshagen and the rich breakfast in the morning make you want to explore the island or simply relax. Our bike hotel (Bett+Bike partner) and the suites are ideal for short getaways but also for spontaneous and all-inclusive holidays. Larger groups of cyclists and motorcyclists are also very welcome. Wheelchairs for the beach can be rented through the hotel. The nearest path to the beach is wheelchair-accessible.

  • There are four parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The entrance to Haus Max (reception, restaurant) is steplessly accessible via a ramp. The vacation apartments are steplessly accessible.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that are usable and raised for the guest are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception counter is 115 cm high.
  • There are two barrier-free vacation apartments and two barrier-free rooms in Haus Max. 
  • The WC in these rooms can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm).  There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.  
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • In the vacation apartments, the work surface in the kitchen, the sink and the stove are not wheelchair compatible.  
  • The dining table/table is designed to be wheelchair compatible with a maximum height of 80 cm. 
  • There are tables in the Max restaurant that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is no public toilet for people with disabilities (only in the accommodation).

  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • In the Max restaurant, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting where there are no lamps or hanging lamps that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. 
  • Room A19 (double room) has at least one freely available power outlet near the bed.
  • WiFi access is available.

  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in clearly legible and high-contrast lettering.
  • All elevated areas that can be used by guests are brightly lit and glare-free.
