Archaeological showcase

Archaeological Display Window

The "Archaeological Showcase" offers insights into the work of the Directorate of State Archaeology of the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage. Regularly changing exhibitions focus on the latest research and current excavations in the Palatinate. During scientific lectures and other events, visitors can meet archaeological experts in person and learn exciting stories and background information about the work to protect archaeological cultural assets in the Palatinate.

Thus, the Archaeological Showcase, which opened in 2006, is an important flagship and communication platform for the state archaeology in the Palatinate. Here, tourists and visitors from outside, as well as the residents of Speyer, receive direct and vivid first-hand information about the exciting work of the State Archaeology.
