Höcherberg Inn

Gasthaus Höcherberg (Patric Jacob)

At 518 meters, in the middle of the green Nordfpälzer Bergland, surrounded by green forests, lies the Höcher Berg with the associated lookout tower, the Höcherbergturm, in the Bexbach district of Höchen.

From the picturesque Höcherbergturm you can look over the tops of the trees far into the beautiful Saarland and further into the Palatinate and France.

If the view is good, you can see as far as the Erbeskopf and the Donnersberg. You can also catch a glimpse of the Vosges and the Black Forest in good weather. With a good eye you can also discover the Saarpolygon as a landmark.

The surrounding forests invite to many hikes and bike tours. The Saarland Rundwanderweg and the Saarland Radweg lead past the lookout tower. For children there is a great playground at the foot of the tower.

In the inn Höcherberg and in the warm months, also in the beautiful beer garden, you can strengthen yourself for smaller and larger tours.

Discover our wonderful Saarland from its most beautiful side.
