  • There is one public marked parking space for people with disabilities in 80 m distance. The paths from the parking lot to the tourist information are not easy to walk or drive on or have gradients.
  • There are several bus stops near the tourist information office.
  • The tourist information office is accessible without steps via the side entrance.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 98 cm wide.
  • The counter is at its lowest point 78 cm high. There is communication possibility in a sitting position.
  • Offered aids: wheelchair, (wheeled) walker
  • Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered. The entire route is accessible without steps and seating is available. A reservation is desired.

Public WC for people with disabilities at Simeonstiftplatz

  • The platform of the stair platform lift at Simeonstiftplatz is 79 cm x 100 cm.
  • The WC door can be opened with a Euro key.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin and the WC 180 cm x 165 cm;
    to the left of the WC 90 cm x 52 cm; to the right of the WC 95 cm x 52 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. The grab rails can be flipped up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible.  The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
  • There is an alarm trigger.

  • The alarm is clearly visible in the entire building/object. 
  • There is an audio induction loop system at the counter.
  • Guided tours for people with hearing impairment (with FM systems) and deaf people (in German sign language) are offered. A reservation is desired.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • The entrances are visually rich in contrast. There is a tactile attention field at the ground-level side entrance.
  • From there, visually contrasting and tactile guidance strips lead to the consultation counter.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • Offered aids: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.) 
  • There is a city guide (book) in Braille.
  • There are no guided tours available for people with visual impairments and blind people.
