Walsrode World Bird Park is considered the largest bird park in the world and is a true paradise for nature and animal lovers. Over 4,000 birds from all continents live in a spacious, park-like area with lovingly designed themed areas – from tiny hummingbirds to majestic eagles and colorful parrots. Visitors can experience exciting flight shows, discover rare species, and observe birds up close in the tropical and free-flight halls.

  • There is a bus stop 100 meters away.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level.
  • The outdoor paths are at least 100 cm wide and are mostly easy to walk and drive on.
  • They have a maximum longitudinal slope of up to 10%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 70 cm wide.
  • Exhibits and information can mostly be viewed while seated.
  • Seating is available.
  • There are several public toilets for people with disabilities, some of which are accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is usually a folding grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.
