The light-flooded, lovingly designed themed rooms welcome you to a welcome break in the style of the Grimms fairy tale but kept puristically sober. Relax in the sauna on the 8th floor or on the roof terrace with an unrestricted view of Berlin. In the restaurant Tischlein deck Dich you will be spoiled with international cuisine. The hotel is also particularly attractive due to its location. The Potsdamer Platz with its various shopping possibilities as well as transport connections to the whole city is only a few minutes walk away. Another real highlight is the direct access to the park at the Gleisdreieck, which only the Grimm's Hotel can offer its guests.

  • There is a marked parking lot for people with disabilities (350 cm x 500 cm). The path to the entrance is low in vibration due to its surface quality and easy to walk on and drive on.
  • Access to the building is step less via a threshold of 1 cm through a revolving door.
  • Alternatively, a stop door can be used at the main entrance, where access is via a threshold of 3 cm.
  • The restaurant is step less accessible and there are 16 wheelchair accessible tables.

Room 104 (there are other identical rooms 204-704)

  • The room can be reached step less via an elevator. The elevator on the right is 109 cm x 206 cm, the elevator door 90 cm wide.
  • The path from the elevator to the room is approx. 17 m long and has a minimum width of 102 cm.
  • There is no height-adjustable nursing bed.
  • The bathroom door is 93 cm wide, there is no threshold and the smaller manoeuvring space in front of/behind the door is 86 cm x 210 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are 16 cm x 54 cm on the left and 110 cm x 54 cm on the right and 110 cm x 140 cm in front of the toilet102 cm x 140 cm.
  • There are handles on both sides, the right one can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The shower is 76 cm x 108 cm, there is a threshold of 1 cm.
  • There are no handles in the shower and no shower chair.


Room 217 - Princes Suite 

  • The room can be reached step less via an elevator. The elevator on the right is 109 cm x 206 cm, the elevator door 90 cm wide.
  • The way from the elevator to the room is about 12 m long and has a minimum width of 122 cm.
  • There is no height-adjustable nursing bed.
  • The bathroom door is 93 cm wide, there is no threshold and the smaller manoeuvring space in front/behind the door is 150 cm x 165 cm.
  • The manoeuvring space next to the WC is 37 cm x 56 cm on the left and 145 cm x 56 cm on the right and 165 cm x 178 cm in front of the WC.
  • There are handles on both sides, the right one can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The shower is 100 cm x 145 cm, there is a threshold of 1 cm.
  • There are no handles in the shower and no shower chair.


Public toilets for People with disabilities

  • The toilet can be reached by elevator without steps.
  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilets are 147 cm x 70 cm on the left and 20 cm x 70 cm on the right, in front of the toilet 102 cm x 140 cm.
  • There are grab handles on both sides, the left one can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.

  • There are no seating areas with low background noises in the restaurant.
  • Ringing or knocking on the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal, which can be heard in all rooms.
  • There is a television with teletext available
  • The ringing of the telephone is not clearly perceptible by a flashing signal.
  • There is no alarm that is visually perceptible throughout the entire building.
  • There is no audio induction loop.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The entrance area can be recognised by a tactile change in the floor covering and is illuminated brightly and glare-free.
  • There is no guidance system with floor indicators for outdoor and indoor areas. Inside, the wall can partly be used as an orientation guideline.
  • In some cases, low-hanging lamps are present on sidewalks.
  • The reception area is bright and glare-free.
  • There are no Braille signs in the lifts. The break position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • stairs are not visually or tactilely contrast-rich.
  • There is tactilely comprehensible and easy to read information in the rooms and at the public WC.
  • The menu of the restaurant is not available in Braille or on a barrier-free website.
