Wietzendorf is located in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath and is one of the largest villages in that area. Surrounded by bogs, forest and heathland, nature lovers in particular will find a wide range of hiking and biking trails. The proximity to the large amusement parks in the region (Heide Park, Serengeti Park, Welt Vogelpark Walsrode) offers especially families with children a varied stay.

  • The counter/cash desk is no more than 80 cm high and there is an alternative way of communicating while seated.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). 
  • There is a folding grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet.

  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas.
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasted with the surroundings. 
  • There is no visual contrast between the flooring and the staircase entrances or exits. The staircase has no handrail. A ramp can be used instead of the stairs.
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
