All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are two possible unmarked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 400 cm x 500 cm).
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • Since the elevator is defective, only the first floor is accessible without steps.
  • The ramp is situated outside and has a maximum gradient of 23 %.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 79 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is at its lowest point 145 cm high. There is no other communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are 17 wheelchair accessible tables available in the dining and breakfast room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 124 / 127 and 130 (1st upper floor)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 116 cm x 150 cm;
    right of the bed 200 cm x 300 cm;
    left is the bed on the wall.
  • The bed is 46 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the toilet 280 cm x 130 cm; in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 130 cm;;
    left or right of the toilet 148 cm x 52 cm, no manoeuvring space on the other sight.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds. The manoeuvring space in the shower is 180 cm x 180 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There are grab rails available in the shower.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The toilet door can be opened with a key. The key is available at the reception.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the toilet 120 cm x 230 cm cm; in front of the washbasin 160 cm x 230 cm;
    left of the toilet 92 cm x 57 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right.
  • There is a grab rail on the left side of the toilet, which can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system at the counter.
  • In the dining and breakfast room there are 17 tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
