Sportcampus Saar

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available.
• The Landessportschule bus stop is 500 meters away.

Swimming Pool

• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible without steps/at ground level. The grandstand is an exception. It can only be reached via stairs.
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are elevated are at least 80 cm wide.
• There is a sanitary room available for people with disabilities.
• The toilet in this room is accessible from one side (at least 90 cm). There is a foldable grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.
• The shower in the sanitary room for people with disabilities is accessible without steps. There are grab rails in the shower.
• There is a ladder with a handrail for access to the indoor swimming pools.

Handball Arena 

• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are listed are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp.
• There are no inclines of more than 13.5%.
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are listed are at least 70 cm wide.
• Seating is available.
• There is no accessible toilet.

Athletics hall

• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are subject to a charge are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator.
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are subject to a charge are at least 80 cm wide.
• Seating is available.
• There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.

Multipurpose hall

• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator.
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• Seating is available.
• There are two public restrooms for people with disabilities, which are accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the restroom.
