Tree top path Harz

Tree top path Harz (Tobias Brabanski, Nordstadtlicht)

Lower Saxony's unique treetop path in the Harz Mountains offers completely new insights into nature. The 1,000-meter-long path starts at the foot of the Burgberg in Bad Harzburg's spa gardens and leads up to a height of 26 meters through the old treetops of the Kalten Tal. Visitors can enjoy views of the Harz National Park and the Lower Saxony State Forests. It spans a pond and provides information at 52 experience stations, located on 18 platforms and in the crown, about the Big Bang, the nature, environment, timber industry or history of the region and the Harz.
