It doesn't get more loving and beautiful than this. The very modern Rheinsteig youth hostel in a historic ambience is located in the center of the small Rhine town of Kaub, directly on the Rheinsteig with a view of the Rhine and the world-famous customs castle Pfalzgrafenstein. Located in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley, the town of Kaub looks back on a thousand years of history.

  • There are several parking facilities on Zollstraße and along the B42/Rheinuferstraße. 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 88 cm wide.
  • There are two barrier-free rooms in the establishment. 
  • The WC in the room can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails on both sides. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available. An alarm release (cord) is available. 
  • Wheelchair-compatible tables are available in the dining room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • A conference room is available. This can be reached via an elevator.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from one side. There are folding grab rails on both sides.
