Located in the immediate vicinity of the impressive Cistercian monastery in Walkenried, the modern exhibition offers fascinating insights into the monks’ work, their highly developed water management system, and the monastery’s significance for the region.   • Exhibits and information are primarily visible while seated.
  • A public restroom for people with disabilities is available, which is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). The grab bars in the restroom are fold-up.
