Wasserspielplatz Neßmersiel (Guido Frank)

The water playground Neßmersiel is a place to be free: an ideal place to expose yourself even to wind and weather, to spend free time and to laze a little. Its individual parts Potti and Winker are of maritime symbolism. "Potti" - the beached whale - is an object for climbing, splashing, sliding and romping. The "Winker" is a visual sign, water dispenser and kinetic object, from whose tilting arm a gush of water pours out at regular intervals.

The water playground is designed for some groups of people with physical disabilities. It has also been classified as an offer of the "KinderFerienLand Niedersachsen". Letting off steam and having a good time is encouraged at the Neßmersiel water playground.

Since storm tides endanger the region in winter, parts of the Neßmersiel playground are being dismantled.
