Palatinate Youth Hostel
The modern Palatinate Youth Hostel in Neustadt, near Hambach Castle, is as popular as the mild climate along the Wine Route is outstanding. Neustadt is the center of the German Wine Route, and its historic old town is particularly charming. The fantastic location and wide range of leisure activities leave nothing to be desired for visitors.

- There is a parking space available for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator.
- All doors, passageways, and pathways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 115 cm high. An alternative, equivalent means of communication while seated is available.
- There are two accessible rooms.
- The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). A fold-down grab bar is available on the accessible side of the toilet.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible while seated.
- Access to the shower is via a 1-cm-high threshold. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
- The dining room has tables that are no more than 80 cm high and are wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There is no public restroom for people with disabilities. For events, a restroom in one of the guest rooms is made available as needed.

- The dining room features tables with bright, glare-free lighting; there are no lamps standing or hanging above the tables that obstruct the field of vision or eye contact.
