Schauinsland cable car
View of the valley station
A ride on the Schauinslandbahn is simply a pleasure. Climb aboard and discover the world from above as you swing comfortably past lush meadows, rustic Black Forest houses and dark fir forests.
What began as an extraordinary large-scale project in the early 1930s is still a minor sensation today. Germany's longest circulating cable car takes you safely up to 1220 metres and back down again, all year round.
Operating times, fares and everything worth knowing about your excursion with the Schauinslandbahn as well as general information can be found on the website www.schauinslandbahn.de. You can download specific user instructions here.
