Arriving by car
You can reach Rostock quickly and easily via the A19, A20, or B105, whether you are coming from Hamburg, Berlin, or the surrounding area. Simply follow the signs to the city center and drive to “Am Strande 6.”

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

- There are two parking spaces available for people with disabilities.
- The Stadthafen tram stop is located 400 meters away.
- All guest-accessible areas and facilities are either at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator.
- There are no slopes steeper than 6%.
- All doors and passageways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 114 cm high. An alternative, equivalent means of communication while seated is available.
- There are two accessible rooms available. A height-adjustable nursing bed is available upon request.
- The toilet in the room is accessible from both sides (at least 90 cm). Fold-down grab bars are available to the left and right of the toilet.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
- Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are available.
- The restaurant features tables that are a maximum of 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- A public restroom for people with disabilities is available, which is accessible from both sides (minimum 90 cm). The grab bars at the toilet are foldable.

- In the rooms surveyed, there is at least one freely accessible electrical outlet near the bed.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed only by an audible signal. Stairs are available as an alternative.
- The restaurant features tables with bright, glare-free lighting, with no lamps standing or hanging above them that obstruct the field of vision or eye contact.
