Whether it's Die Ärzte, Cro or The Kelly Family, national and international bands, artists and acts regularly come to the SWT Arena Trier. The largest multifunctional hall in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can hold up to 7,500 visitors. The program is wide-ranging. From live concerts and musicals to comedy and sports highlights, the SWT arena hosts an average of 75 (major) events a year. Convenient access thanks to its direct location on the highway, good public transportation connections, complete barrier-free accessibility, and numerous food and beverage options including its own restaurant make every event a special experience.

  • The Arena bus stop is 40 meters away.
  • The building is accessible without steps via Entrance 2.
  • All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator.
  • All doors/passageways that are accessible to guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The ticket counter is 84 cm high.
  • Seating is available.
  • There are separate parking spaces for wheelchair users.
  • The designated spaces for wheelchair users in the stands are accessible without steps with a longitudinal slope of 13% over a length of 75 cm.
  • There are public toilets for people with disabilities, which are accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.

  • A tactile and high-contrast guide strip leads from Herzogenbuscher Str. to entrance 1 via the stairs with handrail.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • There are tactile plans in booklet form.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • Stairs are predominantly not visually contrast-rich. Handrails are available on both sides.
