Youth Hostel Schliersee

Youth Hostel Schliersee (DJH Landesverband Bayern e.V.)

Mountains, railways, boarding - Schliersee offers year-round outdoor fun. A fascinating mountain world, beautiful nature and blue lakes: this is what those seeking relaxation will find at our DJH youth hostel Josefstal at Schliersee.

Surrounded by a fascinating mountain world, our DJH youth hostel Josefstal welcomes guests young and old. In our cosy hostel, 101 beds in 23 rooms (two to eight-bed rooms) await hiking fans, nature lovers and winter sports enthusiasts.
Even the first step out of our hostel door promises pure hiking and winter sports pleasure. The oldest rack railway in Bavaria takes you up to the Wendelstein. If you work up a sweat on a hot day, you can cool off by jumping into the Schliersee or Spitzingsee lakes. More holiday fun will be hard to find.
A short trip to the nearby Josefstaler waterfall is always a good idea. Guests with walking difficulties can also enjoy this wonderful nature at any time of the year. Please contact us if necessary and we will find a solution.
