The Wetzlar Tourist Information is located in the old town, directly at the Domplatz. Here you will find information for your discovery tour through the winding old town with its cathedral, half-timbered houses, Goethe memorials, boutiques and the exciting world of optics. 

The team of the Tourist-Information will be happy to help you plan your stay: with finding a hotel, your city tour, cycling and hiking tours, excursions to the surrounding area or visiting events.

  • There is a marked parking lot for people with disabilities at the cathedral. It is not easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path from the parking lot to the entrance is 25 m long. It is not easy to walk or drive on in places and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 6.5% over a distance of 20 m.
  • The Wetzlar Leitzplatz bus stop is approx. 550 m away.
  • The building is only accessible via two steps (bell available at the entrance).
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The counter is 110 cm high. There is another possibility for communication while seated.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. The entire route is stepless.
