Nature Park Gate Wassenberg / Tourist Information Wassenberg (Guido Bonewitz-Raband)

At the Nature Park Gate Wassenberg, the "Schwalm-Nette" Nature Park and the town of Wassenberg provide information about culture and landscape as well as tourist leisure and recreation destinations in the southern nature park area. Interactive media and exhibition units enable visitors to engage intensively with the city and the natural environment.

  • The path from the parking lot to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 5% over a distance of 20 m (as an alternative to stairs).  
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible without steps/at ground level. 
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The exhibits and information on the exhibits are predominantly not visible when seated.
  • Seating is available.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from both sides (at least 89 cm). Folding grab rails are available at the WC. 
  • There are no guided tours for people with walking disabilities or wheelchair users.
