Rietberg garden show park

(Dirk Gerhardt)

Parents and children, outdoor fans and adventurers, sports enthusiasts and nature lovers: a trip to the Rietberg Garden Show Park is worthwhile for everyone. Because the 40-hectare successor site to the successful NRW State Garden Show 2008 offers numerous leisure and recreational opportunities.

The 40-hectare, barrier-free garden show park impresses with its extensive lakescapes, lush flowerbeds and classic themed gardens. Adventure and water playgrounds for the little ones, the 23-meter-high slide tower with jungle bridge, thousands of Lego-style large building blocks, the "schnurstracks" climbing park and much more will make children's eyes light up. Rest and relaxation can be found on secluded picnic areas, cozy beach chairs or in the water treading pool. If you haven't had enough after a day, you'll find a cozy place to sleep at reasonable prices in the semi-circular camping pods and the rustic witch's cottages.
