 All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

 Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The streetcar stop Heinrich-Hoffmann-Straße/Blutspendedienst is 200 m away. 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp. 
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 80 cm wide.
  • Two barrier-free rooms are available.
  • The WC in the room can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails on the left and right.  
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • There are tables in the restaurant that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails on the left and right.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop in all conference rooms.
  • Visual and audible alarms are available in the barrier-free rooms 4 and 5. 
  • In the dining room "Kasino" there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact. There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. seating corner, separate room).
  • WiFi is offered.
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.

  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible and high-contrast lettering.
  • All elevated areas that can be used by guests are brightly lit and glare-free.

  • Some stairs have visually contrasting edges on the first and last step.
  • Stairs have a handrail on at least one side.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.
