Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.
- There are four designated parking spaces for people with disabilities at the Deidesheim Tourist Information Office, the starting point of the circular routes.
- There are further designated parking spaces at the church (Heumarktstraße), near the market square (Bahnhofsstraße), at the adventure garden (Prinz-Ruprecht-Straße), in the train station area, at the administration building of the municipality (Am Bahnhof) and at the alla hopp! facility (Bgm.-Oberhettinger-Straße).
- The Deidesheim train/bus station is approx. 550 m from the starting point of the circular routes.
- All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible without steps.
- All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
"alla hopp!" circular route
- The circular route is 1.4 km long and is signposted throughout.
- The path is stepless and easy to walk and drive on (asphalt, concrete paving).
- There are inclines: The longest section with a gradient is 100 m long (gradient 3%). The maximum gradient is 10% (over 1 m).
- The path runs for 120 m on a road. In addition, roads (30 km/h) have to be crossed. Some of the crossings are secured.
- There are numerous places to sit. The maximum distance between the seats is 250 m.
Historic loop trail
- The circular route is 1 km long and signposted throughout.
- The path is stepless and is easy to walk and drive on (natural stone paving, partially polished cobblestones, asphalt).
- There are inclines: The longest section with a gradient is 150 m long (gradient 4.5%). The maximum gradient is 6% (over 12 m).
- The path mainly runs through traffic-calmed zones or roads (play street, 30 km/h zone). A road also has to be crossed. There are steep inclines in the area of the traffic lights (13% over approx. 1.5 m).
- There is plenty of seating available. The maximum distance between the seats is 300 m.
WC for people with disabilities in the youth club/at the "alla hopp" facility
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
200 cm x 150 cm in front of the washbasin and WC;
to the left and right of the WC 90 cm x 70 cm. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet. Both grab rails can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
- There is a cord as an alarm trigger.
WC for people with disabilities in the adventure garden area
- The ramp to the WC facility has a gradient of 7% and a total length of 4 meters.
- The toilet door can be opened with a Euro key.
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
180 cm x 136 cm in front of the washbasin and WC;
to the left and right of the WC 101 cm x 70 cm. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. Both grab rails can be folded up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
- There is a cord as an alarm trigger.
