Youth Hostel Waren (Müritz)
Our Waren (Müritz) lakeside youth hostel is located in the middle of the land of 1000 lakes. The hostel is situated close to the shore between the Müritz - Germany's largest inland lake - and the Feisnecksee. The best starting point for your stay in the Mecklenburg Lake District!
In our small, family-run house you will find a reception area with a cozy sitting area, a dining room with access to the terrace and a modern common room for up to 50 people.
The separate seminar area allows you to hold productive workshops, seminars and conferences in a relaxed and undisturbed environment. The three seminar rooms are soundproofed and can be partially partitioned off, making them particularly suitable for music rehearsals.
For the ideal balance, you will find a volleyball court, table tennis tables and a pavilion with barbecue facilities in the leisure area.

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

- There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
- The bus stop Waren, Jugendherberge is 50 m away.
- All rooms and facilities on the ground floor that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level. The common rooms on the upper floor are only accessible via stairs.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 86 cm wide. Exception: the public WC.
- The reception counter is a maximum of 90 cm high.
- Two barrier-free multi-bed rooms are available.
- The WC in these rooms can be accessed from both sides (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
- The washbasin can be driven under and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
- There are tables in the dining room that are max. 80 cm high and can be driven under at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- The common rooms were surveyed but not included in the assessment.
- There is no public toilet for people with disabilities.
