The Liberty Hotel Bremerhaven

The Liberty Hotel

Architecture that thrills at first sight. Plus a dreamlike location at the historical harbor of the "Außenweser" with view to the North Sea. The newly opened Hotel THE LIBERTY within the heart of the "Bremerhaven Havenwelten" is setting new standards in the Sea City.

It is situated exactly where eight million people emigrated from Germany to the United States of America between 1832 and 1838. Among them Eberhard Anheuser, cofounder of the brewing company "Anheuser-Busch Inbev", the father of Henry Heinz, the founder of Heinz Ketchup and last but not least the grandfather of the present US president Donald Trump.

A lot in the 4-Star-Superior-Hotel is referring to the New World: the Statue of Liberty as name giver, the Restaurant Mulberry Street, black-and-white-photographs with motifs of the history of the emigrants and numerous museum loans from the German Emigration Center, which is located directly next door.

The thematic link is reflected in all 98 rooms and suites, with details and furnishings that tell stories from longing, wanderlust, and legendary Ocean Liners. Unique in the Sea City are the connected Restaurant Mulberry Street with a wide breakfast buffet together with a subtle but grounded kitchen in a New York Style plus the NEW YOR BAR in the penthouse, which is considered the trendiest meeting place in Bremerhaven.

For relaxation there is a Day SPA on the penthouse floor of THE LIBERTY with Finnish Sauna, Bio-Sauna, recreation room, a small fitness area, massage and cosmetic applications as well as access to the roof terrace. Only a stone's throw away from the Hotel, which counts among the "Hamburger Raphael-Gruppe", are, next to the German Emigration Center, the repeatedly certified "Klimahaus Bremerhaven", the Zoo of Bremerhaven as well as the German Maritime Museum.
