- There are eight parking spaces for people with disabilities on the south side of the Humboldt Forum, accessible via Portal 2 “Breite Str.”
- The bus stop and “Museumsinsel” subway station are 150 meters away.
- All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via elevators.
- All doors/passages accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The café has tables that are max. 80 cm high and can be accessed from a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There are public toilets for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from both sides (at least 90 cm). The grab rails on the toilet can be flipped-up.

- In the event of an audible alarm, there is also a clearly visible flashing and strobe signal.
- There is no audio induction loop system.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.
- The café does have tables with bright, glare-free lighting and no lamps standing or hanging above them that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.

- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
- The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast lettering.
- All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
- Stairs have visually contrasting edges. Stairs have handrails on both sides. Tactile information about the floor is available at the beginning and end of the staircases.
- The font used on the menu is simple and visually contrasting.
- The menu is available on an accessible website.
