Youth Hostel Castle Rothenfels

Youth Hostel Castle Rothenfels (Burg Rothenfels Jörn Peters)

Between the Middle Ages and modernity: this is what a holiday in our DJH youth hostel Burg Rothenfels above the Main valley and the half-timbered town of Rothenfels promises.

Holidays surrounded by medieval walls and modern architecture, that's what our DJH youth hostel Burg Rothenfels promises. For almost 1,000 years, the castle has looked out over the Main valley and the half-timbered town of Rothenfels. 164 beds spread over 30 rooms await inquisitive school classes and nature lovers of all ages.

Rothenfels Castle Youth Hostel is the ideal place for school trips, choir or music groups as well as for children's and youth camps: functional, rustic youth hostel rooms in a real castle,

For guests with walking difficulties, we can offer a room suitable for the disabled.

Get to know the beautiful surroundings better on an excursion or on the hiking and cycling trails. Nearby Würzburg is also worth a visit. You can then relax within the castle walls, for example in our baroque garden. As you can see: A holiday in these medieval surroundings is more than worthwhile.
